 A VERY WARM WELCOME TO ALL THE STUDENTS

 

  • Department of Education  caters to students needs with specific curriculum and varied scope for their future. We have dedicated teachers with high credentials and follow student centric approach while teaching .We also give them certain flexibility in terms of choosing from their different subjects as Discipline Specific Elective and Skill Enhancement Courses from  their syllabus. Department also has its .counselling cell for honours students to take care of their personal and professional problems. We also use ICT enabled classrooms to teach the students and teach online as well .We also have Subjective Mentor-Mentee Group of teachers and Students, for subject specific problems. Teachers keep themselves updated with recent trends in Education and Research through Publications.
 Scope of the Subject-:
  • Students after qualifying graduation and completing Masters can sit for NET /SLET Examination, with having minimum qualifying marks as 55 percent, and clear JRF and can pursue Research work or Projects from Governments sectors.
  • They can also qualify as Assistant Professor for teaching in General Colleges after clearing NET/SET and also by doing B.Ed Course qualify as an Assistant Professor in B.Ed Colleges.
  • Work as Educational  Counsellors in Schools, Colleges or NGO’s.
  • There is also a growing demand as Educational officers,  Curriculum Developer, Test Developers and also in field like NCERT,SCERT and Planning.
