It is hereby informed to all concerned that all admission to Under-Graduate B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com. Honours & General Courses for the Academic Session 2021-2022 will be strictly done through online Process Vide Order No. 706-Edn(CS)/10M-95/14 Dated 13th July, 2021 From Department of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal.
Online admission to be done strictly in accordance to merit list. Students are hereby instructed to follow the eligibility criteria and admission procedure for applying through online admission system carefully before filling up forms.
Application Form once submitted cannot be edited, students can submit fresh application till 20.08.2021.
Only Students of current year (2021) are eligible for application to UG Courses.
Payment of Admission Fees will be done online. Not physically at the college.
Students can apply for maximum 4 courses. No Application Fees to be paid for Online Application and Uploading of Documents.
All testimonials are required to be uploaded online during admission:
Recent Passport Size Colour Photo.
Signature of the Applicant.
10+2 Mark Sheet.
Class 10 Admit Card.
Caste Certificate (Issued by Govt. of West Bengal) for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B (If Applicable).
PH Certificate from the Government recognized Competent Authority (If Applicable).
Eligibility criteria for applying in Honours course either 45% in subject with 50% in aggregate or 55% in subject. For SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B as per rules of University of Calcutta.
Important dates for admission:
a) Online submission starts from 02.08.2021 from 11AM
b) Last date of submission of forms 20.08.2021 upto 11:59:59 PM.
c) Publication of Merit List on 23.08.2021 at 2 PM.

B.Sc. (Gen) (With Food & Nutrition) – 15

For Food and Nutrition (B.Sc.) and Journalism and Mass Communication (B.A.), separate merit list will be published for these two subjects.
N.B. : Those Students who had ‘Environmental Science’ as Elective Subject at their H.S. Level as Documented to their result, for them Environmental Science would be accepted as a subject to be considered for the purpose of merit list for the admission to UG Hons and General Courses in the Academic Session of 2021-2022.But the students who had ‘Environmental Studies’ as their compulsory subject at HS level, for them environmental studies would not be accepted as admissible subject for the purpose of being enlisted to merit list as per instruction by the University of Calcutta.
Students who have Pass 10+2 from “West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education and Training” are eligible for applying to B.A. General Course Only.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 Vocational Course with “Business Commerce” are eligible for applying only in B.Com. General Course.
1st e-counseling and admission from 25.08.2021 from 10 AM to 11:59:59 PM.
2nd e-counselling and admission on 26.08.2021 from 10 AM to 11:59:59 PM.
The next schedule of e-counselling will be notified subject to the availability of seats.
Verification of documents will be done only when the students report for the Classes in due course. Admission will be cancelled if the documents are not found in conformity with the declaration in the forms submitted online. Note: There will be no physical submission and verification of forms at College premises.
