Student Amenities Provided in the Campus


Any Higher educational institution aims for all round developments of its students, preparing them for future life, through advancement of learning. Dr.Kanailal Bhattacharyya College is not an exception to this. Students are enriched with both soft skills and employability skills here.

The campus life is enriched with:
  1. We have self defense programme for girl students which is the call of the day.
  2. Different cultural activities are also held where the students showcase their talents and are also awarded,
  3. Value Education classes for  imbibing values and ethics among students.
  4. Departmental Seminars are held for having broader perspectives in life. Moreover the students are also encouraged to research and give presentations using the ICT facilities available in the College.
  5. Virtual classroom and 6 smart class rooms with modern ICT facilities.
  6. GIS enabled Geography laboratory.
  7. Career Counseling Cell organise job fair to help them to be at par with the professional expertise and employability skills needed for the future.
  8. We also have a canteen with purified drinking water facility.
  9. Library updated with cloud-based KOHA for students self learning and personal growth.
  10. We have professional courses like UGC Approved B.Voc Degree Programme in Beauty Therapy and Aesthetics and Interior Decoration.
  11. We have girls common room with direct and exclusive access to toilet along with indoor games.
  12. All washrooms are provided with wash-basin and sanitizers for hygiene of students.
  13. One existing boys’ common room and another coming up with indoor games with good toilet facility and pure drinking water facility.
  14. A fully equipped gymnasium has been provided to cater to students’ health.
  15. Cycle- stand for students.
  16. Self-financing course on TALLY WITH GST .
  17. Diploma in Computer Application for students at minimal cost in association with WEBEL TECHNOLOGY LTD, Govt. of West-Bengal Undertaking.
  18. ICC(Internal Complaints Committee as per VISHAKHA Guidelines), Grievance redressal cell, Anti Ragging Cell and RTI Committee .
  19. NSS UNIT: Participation In NSS Activities to bridge the gap between community and students.
  20. Industry visit  twice a year for Bio Science Students in association with TCG Life Sciences (Sector V, Block BN, Salt Lake Electronic Complex Salt Lake)
