Facilities for Sports, Games (Indoor, Outdoor), Gymnasium and Yoga Centre etc. and Cultural Activities
The institution has a multipurpose room for physical education activities. It also has common room for both male and female students to organize and practice indoor games.
Although the institution does not have any separate play ground it conducts its sports and other related activities sharing two play ground of neighbouring areas. Right from its inception, the institution has established games and sports as compulsory co-curricular activity. In this regard games and sports are organized by the institution all the year round where all the students (both boys and girls) actively participate.
The institution organizes annual sports programme in a regular manner in which both indoor and outdoor games and sports competition are organized. Moreover the students of the institution have regular participation in University games and sports .The students of the institution have also active participation in Districts games and sports and they performed a very significant role in the competition of games and sports.
The institution has appointed two coaches. One each for Football and Cricket.
The institution has appointed a coordinator of physical education from among the faculty member.
A specific time has been allotted for games and sports for the students of the institution.
In annual budget a specific amount is allotted in games and sports for purchasing equipment, games and sports materials and necessary support system.
The institution has also a gymnasium, well equipped with modern equipment. The students, faculty members and staffs have the scope to avail this facility for maintaining physical health.
The institution regularly organizes cultural activities for the students like Rabindra Jayanti, arts and crafts competitions where students display their talent and are awarded.
The role performance of the students provide joyful moment for both participants and spectators .Therefore it may be mentioned that the institution is serious about the games and sports for the students to inculcate team spirit and fellow-being among all sections of the society.
